“Crested Butte” Socks

Pattern: All the Frills Socks

Start Date: June 10, 2026

Yarn: Greenwood Simply Sock; Calypso Minis

Notes: First time with two at a time sock knitting! After turning the heel my socks ended up facing opposite directions which I’m sure isn’t right, but it’s working out! I’m trying out a “gradient technique” which is not super effective for high contrast color changes but it’s fine. Yarn sourced from a trip to Crested Butte.

Andante Sweater by Miki Teragaki

Start Date: April 15, 2026

Yarn: Circulo Charme

Notes: Another cotton knit! Loving this pattern but it’s extremely slow-going because my attention has been pulled everywhere. The cotton is making for an extremely light knit which is exactly what I was looking for! Yarn sourced from my trip to Brazil.
